Vaccine Mandates: Necessary Or Not
Covid-19 has been a extremely dangerous virus that we thought wouldn't do much harm but it did. It killed millions of people and hospitalized millions as well. Covid-19 originates from Wuhan China, when patient Zero was fist infected with it back in October of 2019. Patient zero apparently got it from a animal in the Wuhan Wet Market(a marketplace selling fresh meat, fish, produce, and other consumption-oriented perishable goods). Wuhan was stated to be put in a lockdown in January 23, 2020 but by then it was too late. Covid-19 had already spread to Japan, Thailand, and by January 20, 2020 it had spread to the U.S, causing the U.S to go into lockdown or quarantine in March. Since then there have been many deaths from covid-19. And health care workers have been trying their best to help us recover, so why wouldn't you want to get the vaccine. If you get the vaccine you would help everyone around you.
Vaccine Mandates have been a controversial topic these past couple of weeks especially because so many have started. For example, students that attend in-person school have now been told they have until December 19th to get both doses of the vaccine or else they will be forced to go into online school. I agree with these mandates because it keeps us safer because the vaccine has been proven to reduce the risk of getting Covid-19. And it helps keep the community safe. The vaccine mandates are targeted towards our communities and to keep our communities safe, for example restaurants are now mandating the vaccine, and so have some stores.
Approximately 5 million people have died due to covid-19 all across the world, and over 200 million people have gotten Covid-19 and half or less have recovered. So far over 7.61 billion shots have been given across the world and in the U.S 445 million doses have been given out .
If you don’t take the vaccine and are going out you are violating many covid-19 vaccine regulations. For example a vaccine mandate started this Monday stating that you can't eat at restaurants without the vaccine. Starting December 19th if you don't have the vaccine students can't come to in-person classes and will be enrolled in online classes. The first amendment states "the first amendment protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference", so you have the right to agree or disagree with me.
In my opinion getting the vaccine is the smartest move here. The vaccine has been proven to work really well and most of the population is getting it. I believe that if you get the vaccine you help everyone around you a lot, and decrease the chance of you getting it and the people around you. And that's why I think getting the vaccine is necessary.

I agree.
